El fabricante electrónico japonés Sony lanzó el muy esperado mando para su consola de videojuegos Playstation 3 (PS3) sensible a los movimientos, un terreno hasta ahora dominado por el Wii de Nintendo.
El 'Playstation Move wands', presentado el miércoles al margen de la Game Developers Conference, principal encuentro mundial de los videojuegos organizado cada año en San Francisco, será distribuido en el mercado a fin de año, época de mayor consumo.
"Queremos creer que se trata de la nueva generación de juegos sensibles a los movimientos", declaró Peter Dille, vicepresidente de PlayStation Network.
"Nintendo hizo un buen trabajo al popularizar los juegos sensibles a los movimientos", añadió, estimando que la "transición" de la Wii a la PS3 se hará de forma "bastante natural".
Sony no reveló el precio de su nuevo producto, pero indicó que será vendido junto con un videojuego y una cámara 'Eye Toy' por menos de 100 dólares
